The Art District’s featured location, Historic Railroad Square has been the haven for the CREATIVES of Tallahassee for the past 50 years. Through the years this creative, local district has grown with the additions of three more locations: Railroad Village, Railroad Crossings, & Art District Collective.

Railroad Square is best known for the exciting and popular First Friday Monthly Festival, which occurs on the First Friday of every month, providing a lively, enjoyable experience with open galleries/shops, live music, and food.

Many businesses in The Art District are open Thursday through Sunday, while some are open daily. Railroad Square is the place to go to support creative LOCAL micro-businesses and experience a variety and uniqueness not found in any other location in town! From vintage, thrift, and antique stores, to art galleries and a photography studio, many creative shops, an authentic pinball arcade, a cult cinema, non-profit performing art theater.....there's something for everyone!

Food and beverage options include Flamingoz: A Taste of Miami, Halisi Africa, Miami Juice Bar, Sweet Boozey Cakes, and more.

Shop local. Experience uniqueness.
